Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America is an actress as well as a performer. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actress and singer. She was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods, to the family of a Polish mother and father who was German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment from a young age. In 1992, she appeared at her first audition, and was able to win an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell aged 13 when her mom signed up for an agent, was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. She also started taking private acting classes around this time. Bell had an uncredited role in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama clubs. When her school staged a production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater following her the completion of her studies. Bell, who graduated in 2001, resigned her studies at the university to play her role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang However, the scene where she played the role was removed. As a result, the credit sequence is all that exists. In 2002, Bell appeared as a character in The Crucible, a Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
